making loyal a community has them solve a New London shipment for you: 3000 Coal for Children's Mine, Food for Hot Springs, 50 Workers for Shipwreck Camp. The 250 Steel and 2 Steam Cores (5 on Extreme??) are on you, though. (They don't need to be fully built up)
Mixed Crews is both at 50% effectiveness?
Efficiency boosts to Army Base are all additive, so wood supports aren't really a 50% boost
Hot Springs sick have 5/half die if sent your way (or if treated on-site, but they don't go into your graves), convict sick are fine
shipments are instantly reciprocal, but you don't have events fire until shipments actually arrive
New London's request Laws are annoyingly random, which can make a run depend on RNG. Not great
Emergency Shifts never has the final event fire
Administrative Clerks genuinely just idle all day, only willing to eg go to arenas
Best to start working a ruin inside the other ruins to clear space for a Gathering Hut, and to work the crates near the Army Warehouse initially: its placement blocks smooth Gathering Post placement, but you can assign labor directly even before the steel wreckage in the way is cleared.
abandon New London: build 20 Bunkhouses or Houses, have 5 functioning Infirmaries, keep all housing adequately warm, have 200 Rations in storage. If all these are true, victory! If not, the game says you failed, even if you're just 1 ration short of success
way easier to fail than helping. Not as benefited by building your ally communities, I guess
really hate the whole 'real enemy was discord'. No it wasn't! Shut up!
custom audio stuff: poorly-handled, 'new london awaits' can play all throughout
Scouting pretty weak outside finding settlements and survivors; resource payouts minimal, and so few places to visit you can easily hit every point well before endgame.
